Job Summary
Assess current database systems to determine structural requirements and develop comprehensive migration strategies for future states. Design data models, create target architectures, and produce detailed analysis reports outlining design, development, and migration roadmaps with timeline estimates. Evaluate emerging technologies to improve architecture while ensuring security, regulatory compliance, and high availability for web applications. Communicate technical strategy and needs to executive teams and cross-functional groups.
Required Qualifications
- Overall 8+ years of experience
- minimum 2 years prior experience as a data architect or in a data management role
- Certified Data Architect
- Extensive experience with data migration from MS Access database to SQL database using Microsoft SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistent)
- Experience with software network design and implementation
- Understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operations
- Software architecture and design
- Network design and implementation
- Problem-solving capability
- Ability to clearly present technical information to fellow technical professionals as well as non-technical peers
- Research and analytical skills
- Adaptability and curiosity
- Presentation and communication skills
