AIApply is legit. Real product, real paying users, refined over years. The cover letter and resume generation are particularly polished — that's their calling card.
We're a competitor (Sorce is in the same category) so we'd rather you knew that up front. With that disclosure: here's the honest review.
What AIApply actually does
AIApply is an AI-driven job-application platform with three main surfaces:
- Resume and cover letter generator — tailored to a job description.
- Chrome extension — automates LinkedIn Easy Apply.
- AI agent — applies on company career sites for non-LinkedIn roles.
Mature product, broad feature set.
What we liked
- Cover letter quality. AIApply has spent years refining their cover letter output. It's noticeably polished, particularly for senior-level applications.
- Resume tailoring. Solid AI suggestions for tailoring per role.
- Chrome extension on LinkedIn Easy Apply. Fast and well-built for that workflow.
- Established brand. Real reviews on G2, real user community on Reddit.
What we didn't
- Free plan limits. AIApply has a free plan, but heavier resume, cover letter, and apply workflows move into paid access or bundles.
- Web + extension, no native mobile app. Phone-based hunters get a worse UX.
- Inventory dependent on where you find the job. Unlike a tool with its own jobs database, AIApply needs you to bring the listing.
- Multi-product surface. Some users find the breadth confusing — three different ways to apply with three different flows.
Pricing (as of May 2026)
AIApply's public pricing page shows a free plan and a Pro tier. The App Store listing also shows in-app purchases for monthly/yearly starter access and application bundles, so check whether you're buying subscription access, application credits, or both.

Real user signal
- G2 — "Best cover letter generator I've used. Worth the subscription if you're sending out 5-10 polished applications a week." Real signal.
- Reddit r/cscareerquestions — Generally positive on cover letter and resume quality. Mixed on the auto-apply flow's UX.
- Trustpilot — Mostly positive among users who use the cover letter generator extensively.
