Job Summary
ZVA Integration Engineer role focuses on hands-on coding to design, develop, test, and support production-ready integrations between our CCaaS platform and customers’ CRMs and back-end systems. You will work within Professional Services to translate requirements into technical designs, implement data exchanges in real time or near real time, trigger cross-system workflows, and ensure accurate synchronization of customer, interaction, and agent data. Responsibilities include building integrations with Java/J2EE, Python, and JSON; leveraging REST APIs and webhooks; producing design specs, API mappings, and deployment guides; conducting unit and integration tests; supporting UAT and production cutovers; and collaborating with customer technical teams and internal product/engineering teams. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in CCaaS/CRM ecosystems (Genesys, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Call Manager, Salesforce including Slack, 8x8, RingCentral, Five9, or similar), familiarity with contact center workflows, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on software engineering background
- Proficiency in Java and J2EE
- Proficiency in Python
- JSON payloads, schemas, transformation
- Experience with REST APIs and webhooks
- OAuth and API keys authentication/authorization
- Experience designing data flows between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems
- Professional Services, consulting, or customer-facing delivery experience
- Experience with CCaaS/contact center platforms (Genesys, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Call Manager, Salesforce including Slack, 8x8, RingCentral, Five9, or similar)
- Understanding of contact center workflows (call routing, agent desktops, case/ticket flows) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Collaborative, team-first mindset
- 3–7 years of software development or integration engineering, ideally in SaaS/CCaaS/CRM environments
- Track record delivering integrations in Professional Services or consulting settings
- Motivation to work at the intersection of software engineering and customer delivery
