Job Summary
Follow all federal and state CDL regulations while navigating traffic and weather conditions to safely deliver and unload products. Assist with loading vehicles, checking invoices for accuracy, and performing tie-down inspections before leaving the yard. Operate a forklift and moffet to load customer orders and maintain facility cleanliness regarding equipment, inventory, and the yard. Perform manual labor including repetitive lifting up to 35 pounds and occasional 70-pound tasks while working as a self-motivated team member. Requires a current CDL license, two years of industry experience, and forklift certification. Join a family-owned building material supplier serving five locations in the Metro-Milwaukee area.
Required Qualifications
- Class B-CDL Driver
- Current CDL License with good driving record
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Forklift certification
- Repetitive lifting of up to 35 pounds, 70 pounds occasionally and the ability to bend and twist
- Basic reading, writing and math comprehension
- Must be willing to perform manual labor
- Must be able to operate a forklift and moffet
- Must have a good sense of direction and ability to navigate a map
- Ability to handle traffic and basic weather conditions
- Must be able to follow all Fed and State Regulations on CDL's
