Job Summary
Follow all federal and state CDL regulations while safely delivering and unloading building materials. Assist in loading vehicles, checking invoices for load accuracy, and performing tie-down inspections before leaving the yard. Operate a forklift and moffet to handle repetitive lifting of up to 35 pounds, occasionally 70 pounds, while maintaining facility cleanliness and adhering to safety procedures. Navigate using a good sense of direction to manage traffic and weather conditions. Work as a motivated self-starter within a team at one of five locations surrounding Metro-Milwaukee, providing high-quality building materials and valuable services to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License with good driving record
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Forklift certification
- Current CDL License with good driving record
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Strong verbal communicator
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic reading, writing and math comprehension
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to bend and twist
- Must have a good sense of direction
- Must be able to navigate a map
- Must be able to handle traffic
- Must be able to handle basic weather conditions
- Must be able to follow all Fed and State Regulations on CDL's
