Job Summary
Follow all federal and state CDL regulations while assisting with vehicle loading, safe product drop-offs, and unloading. Perform tie-down inspections before leaving the yard and check invoices for load accuracy. Operate a forklift and moffet to handle repetitive lifting up to 35 pounds and occasional 70-pound loads. Maintain facility cleanliness regarding equipment, inventory, and the yard while navigating traffic and weather conditions. Work as a self-motivated team member with a clean driving record, 2+ years of industry experience, and strong customer service skills. Join a family-owned building material supplier serving five Metro-Milwaukee locations.
Required Qualifications
- Class B-CDL Driver
- Clean driving record
- Forklift certification
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Good sense of direction and ability to navigate a map
- Ability to handle traffic and basic weather conditions
- Current CDL License with good driving record
- Repetitive lifting of up to 35 pounds, 70 pounds occasionally and the ability to bend and twist
- Basic reading, writing and math comprehension
- Self-motivated
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to perform manual labor
- Must be able to operate a forklift and moffet
- Must be willing to perform manual labor
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
