Zoological Specialist, Nutrition at Busch Gardens Tampa is responsible for preparing diets for the animal collection, processing fruits and vegetables, handling meat, fish, invertebrates and other food items, washing and sanitizing containers and equipment, determining measurements of weight and volume, assisting with inventory and ordering, and performing 250-gallon Coral Reef Tank maintenance including feeding, cleaning, water quality, and systems maintenance. The Nutrition Center operates 6 am to 2:30 pm, seven days per week. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, a Florida driver’s license with insurance, the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, being team-oriented, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
