Zookeeper

Conduct daily care for animals, including feeding, enrichment, and behavioral training while monitoring for injuries or disease symptoms. Maintain detailed observation records and medication logs using Species 360: ZIMS, and assist veterinarians with prescribed treatments. Perform general maintenance on exhibits and grounds, unloading supplies, and cleaning enclosures with appropriate disinfectants. Interact with visitors to provide information, conduct tours, and participate in educational outreach programs. Requires one year of zookeeping experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work weekends. This benefitted position involves a weekly schedule of 40 hours and requires a valid driver's license and background check clearance.
