Job Summary
Zookeeper role focusing on the care, welfare, and enrichment of a diverse animal collection (reptiles, birds, kangaroos, primates, livestock). Responsibilities include feeding, health monitoring, medication administration, maintaining clean enclosures, developing nutrition plans, creating enrichment activities, recording detailed health and behavior data, assisting with veterinary tasks, wildlife-habitat maintenance, and collaborating with the team. Requires outdoor work in all weather, weekend/holiday availability, physical ability to lift heavy objects, and strong observation and documentation skills. Prior experience with the listed species and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; relevant animal-science certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of species-specific care, behavior, and husbandry requirements
- Experience with environmental enrichment techniques to promote animal well-being

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
