Job Summary

Zone Team Leader who will guide a store-zone team to ensure merchandising execution, customer service, and operational standards. Responsibilities include overseeing merchandising tasks (power aisle compliance, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery), ensuring Ops Center and seasonal transition compliance, managing Door to Floor processes for receivement and stocking, supervising associates in the zone, assigning daily tasks, maintaining customer service standards, scheduling and staffing for merchandise handling, communicating company directives, and performing store-opening/closing duties, with on-site, evening, weekend, and holiday availability. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years of supervisory retail experience, strong English communication, organizational and leadership abilities, and physical capability for typical store-floor duties.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years’ retail experience in a supervisory role within a mid-size to large retail or service-oriented business
  • Ability to work on site/in person evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry terms and processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and delegate tasks
  • Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods; etc.
