Job Summary
Retail Zone Team Leader responsible for guiding and directing a defined zone of the store’s sales floor, overseeing merchandising, customer service, and staffing to ensure an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsible for executing zone procedures (merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, daily recovery), ensuring standards and compliance, coordinating stock placement and inventory processes, scheduling and staffing for unload/processing, supervising associates within the zone, communicating directives, and performing team leader duties including opening/closing the store. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a mid- to large-size retailer, flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays), a positive, team-oriented attitude, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
