Job Summary
The Zone Team Leader (ZTL) oversees the operation of a designated retail sales zone, ensuring excellent merchandising practices and customer service. Responsibilities encompass executing merchandising procedures, maintaining store standards, supervising associates, scheduling staff, and ensuring compliance with company programs. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of supervisory retail experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Physical requirements include lifting and carrying capabilities as well as maintaining a high level of alertness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ retail experience in a supervisory role within a mid-size to large retail or service-oriented business.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry terms and processes.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and delegate tasks.
- Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
