Job Summary
Supervise unit managers, mentor new hires, and coordinate daily facility operations including shift scheduling, activity planning, and transportation logistics. Monitor non-prescription medication dispensing, report serious incidents, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and Compass Connections safety protocols during emergencies. Conduct routine inspections of maintenance needs, manage household laundry and cleaning duties, and maintain accurate records of clothing and personal items. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the service population while upholding professional standards and responding to crisis interventions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals
- Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
- Receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year Associate degree from accredited program/institution, or two or more years of college-level course work in a related field
- Two (2) plus years of related experience and/or training
