Job Summary
Zone Program Manager in Indonesia Timur leads zone strategy, program design, budgeting, fundraising coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve child wellbeing outcomes for Wahana Visi Indonesia. Responsible for strategic planning, program/project implementation, reporting, donor compliance, safeguarding, and capacity building of staff and partners, with a focus on high-quality, accountable delivery. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of managerial development experience, fluent English, and willingness to spend ~33% of time in the field. The role entails leadership of zonal teams, stakeholder engagement across government, NGOs, and community partners, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social, Management, Development Studies, Engineering or other relevant subject
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in development program works at managerial level
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal (TOEFL 450)
- Living at the zonal area and willingness to spend at least 33% of time in the field visiting projects
- Excellent project management skills, including people management
- Strong partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Safeguarding Policy compliance and zero tolerance towards violence or abuse against children or adults
