Job Summary
Zone Program Manager role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, leading the zonal strategy, program design, funding growth, and cross-functional coordination to deliver high-quality child wellbeing programs aligned with World Vision Indonesia’s policies and donor requirements. Responsible for strategic planning, resource acquisition, partnership engagement, capacity building of program staff and partners, monitoring and reporting, safeguarding compliance, and maintaining relationships with government, donors, CSOs, and faith-based organizations. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in development program management, English fluency, field presence (33% time in the field), strong project/people management, stakeholder engagement, risk and quality assurance, and the ability to lead a multi-cultural zonal team. Emphasizes safeguarding, governance, and alignment with Transformational Development, Advocacy, and Emergency Response approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social, Management, Development Studies, Engineering or other relevant subject
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in development program works at managerial level
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal (score TOEFL 450)
- Living at the zonal area and requires a willingness to spend at least 33% of his/her time in the field visiting projects
- Excellent project management skill, include people management skill
- Strong partnering and stakeholder management skill
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skill
- Safeguarding Policy awareness and implementation
- Experience coordinating with government ministries, donors, CSOs, FBOs, and UN institutions
- Ability to lead and manage zonal implementation and cross-functional teams
- Management of budgets, sponsorships, and donor compliance
- Risk management and safeguarding/anti-fraud controls
- Ability to provide Christian leadership and align with organizational core values
- Ability to build networks and maintain partnerships with a range of stakeholders
- Willingness to live and work in the zonal area and travel to project sites
