Job Summary
Zone Manager for Avon in fixed-term contract (until March 2027) responsible for driving sales across a designated South Africa region with hands-on leadership, campaign execution, and data-driven decision making. You will coach and develop Sales Leaders and Representatives, monitor performance through KPI tracking and regular 1:1s, implement action plans to improve results and mitigate risks, lead field engagement with campaigns, training, and recruitment, utilize digital tools and reports to identify opportunities, and manage operational processes including forecasting and reporting while promoting Avon’s brand and values across the network.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, ideally within FMCG, retail, direct selling, or distribution
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving targets
- Experience managing and developing teams, including coaching and performance management
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret data to drive decisions
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a geographically spread network and work in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset with strong organisational skills
- Confidence to lead, motivate, and inspire others while working collaboratively across teams
- Willingness to be based within the designated zone and actively engage with the field
