Job Summary
Plan and lead transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets for designated zones in conjunction with the Assistant Store Manager. Process freight sorts, stock product including down stocking and end cap maintenance, and ensure all visual aspects meet documented company standards. Support the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and expense control through regular huddles and role modeling. Review store financial and business data from the scorecard to improve metrics within assigned areas. Maintain a neat, clean, organized environment while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct and safety. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and move merchandise in a warehouse-format store.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Background Check will be completed
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations
