Job Summary
Install and repair diagnostic imaging equipment across hospitals and field sites while maintaining knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends. Perform administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, and site documentation within established regulatory timeframes. Establish rapport with customers to identify and resolve issues, adapting best practices and scheduling activities to support team needs. Travel up to 100% via various modes, with flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations. Safely work with radiation sources while wearing required personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment
- 3+ years' in electromechanical industries
- Associate Degree in electronics
- ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
- knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment
- Must be able to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Must be able to travel up to 100% via car/air/train/bus
- Must be able to work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations)
- Must be able to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
- US work authorization
- Must reside in or within commuting distance to West Zone (CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT and WV)
- Must be able to perform work in at least one modality
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Image Guided Therapy equipment
- BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred
