Job Summary
Manage litigation and arbitration proceedings, including Section 138 NI Act matters, economic offences, and consumer forum cases. Coordinate with police stations, courts, and advocates for case follow-ups while minimizing litigation through proactive legal strategies. Issue legal notices to defaulters, draft replies, and obtain interim orders under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act. Travel across the Western region for legal initiation, review, and audits, maintaining comprehensive case records and MIS. Provide independent legal support to Collections, Customer Care, and other departments, ensuring timely guidance. Requires 7+ years of experience, LL.B., and proficiency in drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years & Above experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the legal field
- preferably as a corporate lawyer
- preferably in litigation/recovery-related roles
- Ability and willingness to independently manage legal operations across the entire West Zone
- Provide legal support to Collections, Customer Care, and other internal departments
- Ensuring timely and accurate legal guidance
- Strong expertise in legal drafting
