Job Summary
Execute daily prep lists to spec, performing knife work, vegetable preparation, protein handling, sauce creation, and dough production while weighing ingredients precisely and scaling recipes. Maintain par levels, replenish stations for service and events, and adhere to standardized recipes and portioning to ensure brand consistency. Adhere to food safety standards including handwashing, allergen controls, and cross-contamination prevention, while labeling products, tracking hold times, and completing cooling logs. Assist with receiving, verify product quality and storage, and minimize waste through proper trimming and yield awareness. Support the line during peak periods, run and restock stations, and perform basic equipment maintenance including sharpening knives and filtering fryers.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months to 1 year of professional kitchen experience
