Job Summary
Perform general labor duties including building conversions for various events, ice making, and ice maintenance. Conduct occasional maintenance and repair of rink equipment such as Zambonis, dasher systems, subfloors, tempered glass, Jet Ice systems, and edgers. Oversee ice installation and removal while assisting the operations department to expedite event conversions. Collaborate with the facilities department to provide optimal ice conditions for all ice events. Work long, irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in very cold or hot conditions. This part-time role offers a $14.00 to $19.00 hourly rate with 401(k) matching benefits and remains open until November 6, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a trained operator for Zamboni Ice Resurfacing machines.
- Strong understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Must be comfortable working in very cold or very hot conditions for long periods of time.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stairs/ladders.
- Ability to adhere to building policies and event requirements.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions as well as communicate effectively with others.
- Must be able to work long, irregular hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
