Job Summary
Resurface all ice surfaces and perform general facility cleaning and maintenance at Lovell Arena. Use hand tools to remove debris, clean equipment, and safely handle hazardous materials while inspecting mechanical units. Respond quickly to changing facility needs and priorities, maintaining professional behavior and customer service standards. Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and procedures. Available for part-time weekend shifts (Fridays through Sundays) of 10–20 hours per week, including day and night rotations. Holiday availability may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Both day and night shifts will be scheduled
- Holiday availability may be required based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a cold environment while wearing appropriate heavy work clothing
- Ability to work in a noisy environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Adequate close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating ice-resurfacing equipment is preferred
- Experience working in a safety-focused environment
- Customer service experience, including handling challenging situations
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing tasks and priorities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, safe decisions
