Job Summary
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support EDI interfaces and B2B integrations, including transactions like X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON. Configure trading partner setups, mappings, and communication protocols while analyzing business requirements into technical solutions. Monitor production transactions, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes. Collaborate with business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable integrations. Create technical documentation, mapping specifications, and support documents. Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects while ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and data integrity standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in EDI development and support
- Strong experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and flat file integrations
- Expertise in EDI mapping tools such as IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling Gentran, Seeburger, OpenText, Boomi, MuleSoft, or SAP PI/PO/CPI
- Experience with communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTP/S, OFTP, and VAN
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP web services, and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
