Job Summary

Provide individual, family, and group therapy services using evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed practices. Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning as needed, and coordinate services with case managers, medical providers, schools, courts, and community agencies. Participate in clinical supervision and assist clients in identifying community resources. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional licensing regulations. Support the YWCA mission of eliminating racism and empowering women through trauma-informed care.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical counseling experience
  • Experience working with trauma survivors, domestic violence victims, sexual assault survivors, children, and families
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Experience with crisis intervention and risk assessment
  • Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse populations
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
  • Cultural competency and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Office-based with occasional community outreach
  • May require evening appointments to accommodate client needs
  • Ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations
