Job Summary
Perform day-to-day general maintenance and repairs across the resort, including plumbing, electric, carpentry, and troubleshooting pumps and motors. Fix or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers while diagnosing electrical problems using testing devices. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and local, state, and federal codes. Complete projects without direct supervision and make recommendations to address structural maintenance issues. Be available for after-hours contact for facility-oriented emergencies and work efficiently to accomplish department goals in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid driver license
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals
- Trade school or 5 years work experience in the field
- Ability to work flexible schedule and overtime when needed
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs on an occasional basis
- Be available for after hours contact in the event of facility-oriented emergency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience climbing telephone poles helpful
