Job Summary
Operate ground servicing equipment safely, report abnormalities, handle packages up to 60lbs, follow airport procedures, participate in team-based freight build-up and breakdown, comply with training modules (WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, Hazard Prevention, etc.), and meet time-sensitive deadlines as part of a team. Requires High School or equivalent, ability to obtain RAIC pass, maintain AVOP, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work shifts; must communicate effectively and stay adaptable in a safety-sensitive, on-site Moncton, NB, Canada operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance)
- Maintain valid AVOP
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have own reliable transportation for shifts off-hour of public transportation
- Excellent driving skills
- Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time sensitive deadlines
- Excellent punctuality and attendance habits
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast changing customer requirements
- Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the local operation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible to work shift work, weekends, and stat holidays
- Good organizational skills
