Job Summary
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand video goals and edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality pieces for publication. Create custom graphics and animation elements, source music or sound effects, and implement SEO strategies to optimize content for YouTube's search algorithm. Deliver final files in correct formats while managing, backing up, and organizing all video assets effectively. Stay current with platform policies and trends to continually streamline the editing process. Required Qualifications
- Love for YouTube, and video
- 1-2 years of professional video editing experience, ideally within the YouTube space
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects or Davinci Resolve
- Excellent storytelling skills with an understanding of pacing and narrative structure
- Knowledge of SEO strategies for YouTube and an understanding of its policies
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style
- A portfolio or reel showcasing your editing abilities
- Fluent in English
