Job Summary
Own the editing process from raw materials to final delivery, shaping pacing, structure, and visual storytelling for high-performing YouTube videos. Define the overall editing style, graphics approach, and visual identity using footage, graphics, sound, and on-screen elements to create clear, engaging content. Work closely with scriptwriters and other team members to strengthen videos throughout production, contributing creative ideas that improve retention and overall content performance. Take responsibility for the quality and consistency of the final output while maintaining a proactive, results-oriented mindset in a small, fast-moving team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing for digital content
- Strong editing skills and a good sense of pacing, storytelling, visual clarity, and overall content style
- A solid understanding of what makes YouTube content perform, including retention, rhythm, structure, and viewer engagement
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Good English skills, with the ability to work confidently with English-language content
- High ownership, attention to detail, and a willingness to stay involved until the final result
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset and a drive to keep improving the final output
- The flexibility and efficiency needed to work in a small, fast-moving team
- A pragmatic attitude toward AI and other tools — using them to work smarter and faster while maintaining a high bar for quality
