Job Summary
Youth/Young Adult Emergency Services Navigator role supporting crisis intervention and emergency sheltering for youth and young adults. Responsibilities include initial outreach, conducting assessments, helping participants develop safety and housing plans, referring to external services, data entry and records management, collaborating with agencies, planning and delivering program lessons, facilitating behavioral health screenings, mentoring, and helping participants build supports. Requires training/certification in assigned Hilltop program and related credentials; CPR/First Aid and CPI training are preferred; valid Colorado driver’s license preferred. Full-time schedule with on-site work in Grand Junction, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college or equivalent related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of lived experience preferred.
- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Certificate from Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training (preferred)
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License (preferred)
