Job Summary

Engage with young people in Out of Home Care homes to build life skills and support daily routines like cooking and cleaning. Organize activities promoting growth and wellbeing while providing consistent, trauma-informed, person-centred care. Collaborate with Case Managers to support care plans and facilitate family contact activities, maintaining confidentiality in all interactions. Requires weekend sleepover shifts and weekday availability; onsite role for permanent part-time or casual positions. Minimum Certificate 3 in Youth Work or related field with one year of Out of Home Care experience.

  • Available to work weekdays and weekends
  • This is an onsite position
  • Must be available to work weekend sleepover shifts
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Youth Work, Community Services or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Out of Home Care or Foster Care settings
  • Experience working with young people impacted by trauma
  • Strong de-escalation skills and understanding of therapeutic care approaches
  • Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Driver's Licence
