Job Summary
Part-Time Youth Worker for third shift in a residential setting. Responsible for supervising residents, maintaining safety and security of the facility, keeping accurate resident records, administering medications as needed, transporting residents, and maintaining unit laundry and cleaning. Requires high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred), 21+ years old, valid driver's license, ability to manage personal stress, strong interpersonal and writing skills, and ability to work a third-shift schedule (11:00 pm–7:00 am) with a 2-week training upon hire. Prior experience with youth/juveniles is highly preferred; responsibilities include screening admissions/referrals and ensuring program adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred
- Work schedule: Third Shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Applicants must be available a minimum of three (3) days per month
- A 2-week training program (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) is required upon hire
- Previous work with juveniles highly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance
- Background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for Company's vehicle liability insurance
- Previous work with juveniles is highly preferred
