Job Summary
Youth Worker needed for Hillcrest Youth Services in Evansville, IN on 2nd shift (Thu-Mon 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) to supervise residents in a residential program. Responsibilities include supervising residents, maintaining safety and security of facility, administering medications, maintaining resident records, transporting residents, providing fair discipline, and screening admissions/referrals. The role requires strong interpersonal, writing, communication, time management, and organizational skills, the ability to manage personal stress, and willingness to participate in a two-week training program (with First Shift training during the first week). Must meet age and education requirements and pass background checks; driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen
