Job Summary
Youth Worker (Full-Time, 2nd Shift) at Hillcrest Youth Services in Evansville, IN. Supervises residents on a Thursday–Monday schedule, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with 2nd shift differential and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include supervising residents, maintaining safety and security of the facility, administering appropriate medications, maintaining resident records, transporting residents, screen admissions/referrals, and providing positive role modeling. Requires strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; ability to manage stress; prior work with juveniles is highly preferred. Must be 21+, HS diploma/GED required, and a Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services field is highly preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet vehicle insurance requirements. Must pass multiple background checks (county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry, drug screen).培训 period includes a two-week training with First Shift hours during the first week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or closely related Human Services field highly preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or closely related Human Services field preferred
- Experience with youth in residential settings
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
