Job Summary
Provide direct, part-time care in a trauma-informed residential behavioral health program for adolescent boys aged 12–17. Work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans, create a safe therapeutic environment based on the Sanctuary Model, build mentoring relationships using trauma-informed approaches, and utilize verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention to support behavioral regulation. Help youth develop life skills, self-worth, and positive identity; conduct structured recreational and skill-building activities; administer medications as assigned and support physical wellness; document and maintain accurate records; and transport residents to appointments, school, court, or community activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 20 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and safely perform physical interventions when necessary
