Job Summary

Actively supervise and interact with youth in activities according to a structured daily schedule while ensuring basic physical and emotional needs are met. Intervene in crisis situations using approved strategies and model conflict resolution to encourage healthy, adaptive behavior. Implement interventions developed by the treatment team, provide academic assistance, and facilitate activities as needed. Complete required documentation, attend team meetings, and communicate with staff during shift changes. Maintain a clean environment and transport clients on a limited basis. Requires a four-year degree, age 21 or older, and clearance through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm.

Required Qualifications

  • A four year degree from an accredited college or university
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass a physical examination
  • Ability to pass background check with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
  • Ability to pass background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • Ability to gain clearance through the Colorado Central Registry of Child Abuse and Neglect (TRAILS)
  • Have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification as provided

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred: have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and be a Qualified Driver as defined by the DCH Automobile Insurance Policy
