Job Summary
Plan and facilitate youth workshops and capacity-building activities for CALD young people, providing academic tutoring, homework support, and study skills assistance. Support the delivery of youth events, camps, expos, and school holiday programs while maintaining attendance records, collecting data, and completing Salesforce reporting. Build relationships with schools, community organisations, and young people through engagement and networking. This part-time role involves 18.5 hours per week and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification or currently studying Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Education, Public Health, Social Sciences or a related discipline
- Basic facilitation and group engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability and interest in working with young people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage complex and challenging situations constructively
- Strong written and computer skills, including proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate innovation and creativity in program delivery
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively within a team environment
- Holder of a valid Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check
