YOUTH SYMPHONY DIRECTOR

Job Summary
The director shall organize, assist and supervise student participation in the Lawrence Youth Symphony auditions, rehearsals, and performances. Responsibilities include clear verbal communication to groups, producing written material, analyzing situations, assisting with information requests, using district software and equipment, meeting deadlines, working constructively with others, and traveling as needed. Reports to the Principal or administrator designee. This role may include stipend details: $1,265 for the season for current USD 497 certified staff or non-staff, paid over the season, with hourly pay of $7.25 if classified staff hours apply. The position is a full-time role within the Athletics & Activities, Coaching domain.
