Job Summary
Assist clients aged 1–21 to develop and apply skills in natural settings, including their homes, schools, and workplaces. Provide planned and crisis respite services while increasing social and interpersonal competencies through individual and group interactions. Collaborate with service providers to support treatment plans and demonstrate cultural competence and trauma-informed practice in daily responsibilities. Document services accurately for Medicaid billing and attend weekly supervision meetings. Participate in mandatory training programs. Requires a high school diploma, related experience with at-risk youth, a valid NYS driver's license, and access to private transportation.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or Technical School
- related experience working with at-risk youth or youth with mental health/special needs
- access to private transportation
- Valid NYS Driver License
- ability to telecommute
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word & Excel
- Work experience within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
