Job Summary
Manage youth sports matches played between teams according to official rules and regulations, cooperating with coaches and other officials to develop a positive self-image in players and provide a good role model. Maintain excellent character, integrity, and adaptability while relating effectively to diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community. Demonstrate patience, self-control, and enthusiasm when working with children and volunteers, recognizing and responding to opportunities for problem solving. Obtain CPR/AED, BBP, and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Working knowledge of sport's rules and regulations
- Prior experience with soccer
- CPR/AED certification
- BBP certification
- First Aid certification
- One to three years' related experience and/or training
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Ability to work with children and volunteers
- Excellent character, integrity, and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
- Ability to recognize and respond to opportunities for problem solving
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with soccer preferred
