Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach age-appropriate Flag Football fundamentals during practices and game days. Enforce rules consistently to ensure games remain safe, fair, and instructional while promoting sportsmanship and positive competition. Assist with field setup and breakdown, and help oversee operations to keep events running on schedule. Build positive relationships with players, parents, coaches, and staff throughout the season. Available to work weekends throughout each 7-week season in St. Charles and St. Louis County locations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flag Football rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 7 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
