Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach age-appropriate Flag Football fundamentals during practices and game days. Enforce rules consistently and fairly while keeping games fun, safe, and instructional for players of all skill levels. Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after each event, maintaining a positive atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork. Communicate respectfully with players, parents, coaches, and spectators to build strong relationships. Assist with officiating games when needed and help oversee operations to ensure events run safely on schedule. Available to work weekends throughout the season for approximately six weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flag Football rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 6 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check

- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
