Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach Flag Football fundamentals during practices and game days. Enforce rules consistently while keeping games safe, instructional, and fair. Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after each event. Build positive relationships with players, parents, coaches, and fellow staff. Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 7 weeks). This hands-on role supports i9 Sports' mission to help kids succeed in life through sports, emphasizing fun, safety, and good sportsmanship for children ages 3-14.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flag Football rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 7 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
