Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach Flag Football fundamentals during practices and game days while promoting core values of sportsmanship and teamwork. Enforce rules consistently, keep game time and score, and ensure player safety and a positive learning environment for all participants. Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after each event, maintaining a fun, energetic atmosphere. Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 6 weeks) in Abington, Blue Bell, Plymouth Meeting, Malvern, and Eagleville.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flag Football rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 6 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
