Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach age-appropriate Flag Football fundamentals during practices and game days. Enforce rules consistently, keep games safe and fair, and teach sportsmanship while communicating respectfully with players, coaches, and spectators. Assist with field setup, equipment breakdown, and officiating when needed to ensure operations run safely and on schedule. Build positive relationships with all participants and maintain an encouraging atmosphere. Available to work weekends throughout the season for approximately six weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Flag Football rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 6 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
