Job Summary
Mentor volunteer coaches and teach Baseball fundamentals during practices and game days while enforcing rules to ensure safety and fair competition. Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after each event, maintaining a fun, energetic atmosphere for players, parents, and coaches. Assist with officiating games when needed and build positive relationships with all participants. Available to work weekends throughout the season for approximately 7 weeks. This role supports i9 Sports' mission to help children ages 3-14 succeed in life through youth leagues, camps, and clinics in St. Charles and St. Louis County.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Baseball rules, skills, and game play
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt during game-day situations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and coaches
- Available to work weekends throughout each season (approximately 7 weeks)
- Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check

- Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience
