Job Summary
Provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for children in school-based programs. Supervise a group of children, facilitate activities that support school curriculum, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff while upholding YMCA core values. This role is part-time with before-school and/or after-school hours (6:30 AM–8:30 AM and 2:30 PM–6:00 PM) across multiple Pinellas County school locations; opportunity to work up to 28 hours per week and potentially increase pay to up to $17/hour with credential advancement. The role requires strong communication, dependability, and a passion for working with kids, plus eligibility for a Level 2 background check and a 10-panel drug screen. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification are preferred (training provided)." ,
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED (or proof of enrollment in a program if graduation is within 2 years)
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen
- Clear a Level 2 background check
