Job Summary
Provide a safe, caring shelter environment for young adults experiencing homelessness during overnight shifts. Conduct intake and check-in, supervise guest belongings, and facilitate referrals to resources across education, employment, housing, and mental health services. Maintain secure storage for medications and supplies, monitor facility access, and contribute to life-skills workshops and daily activities in collaboration with the team. Deliver trauma‐informed, harm‐reduction–oriented care, de‐escalate conflicts, and document guest records in Salesforce. Ensure compliance with shelter policies, communicate progress toward individual goals, and support program operations through meals, safety checks, and administrative duties. Must be able to work the overnight schedule (Tuesday–Saturday, 11:45 PM–8:15 AM) and meet health/safety certifications requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant direct services to young adults
- Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft 365 Power Platform
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Background check
