Job Summary
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions at camps, clinics, and grassroots programs while implementing the Nashville SC Youth Soccer curriculum. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants and serve as a club ambassador maintaining professionalism with players, parents, and partners. Support event operations including setup, check-in, and breakdown of sessions, and assist with coaching education sessions and mentorship initiatives when required. Provide feedback on player development and program delivery when requested, ensuring all safety, risk management, and safeguarding standards are followed. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling based on program needs, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in youth soccer (recreational, grassroots, or club level required)
- Passion for working with children and developing players of all ability levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation to program locations across the Greater Nashville area
- US Soccer Grassroots (or equivalent) License or higher (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working in a youth development environment (Rec, Club, Academy or camps)
- Background in player development models
- Ability to be active for extended periods (standing, running, demonstrating drills)
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
