Job Summary
Conduct soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8, focusing on character development through positive reinforcement and role modeling. No prior coaching experience is necessary, but candidates should have a genuine passion for working with children and sports. This part-time role offers flexible hours, typically ranging from 3 to 10 hours per week, with morning sessions scheduled according to local childcare center needs. Coaches will receive paid training on Soccer Shots’ curriculum and techniques, allowing them to create an engaging and safe environment for children.
Required Qualifications
- No prior coaching or sports experience necessary
- Genuine passion for working with children and sports
- Energetic, engaging, responsible, and safety conscious
- Comfortable collaborating with daycare and childcare professionals
- Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain required state clearances
