Job Summary
Lead Elementary, Middle, and Teen programming for JCAmp and Youth Services, implementing Afterschool, Enrichment, and Teen Connection initiatives while supervising staff evaluations and training. Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director to develop department systems, manage supply orders, and secure contract labor. Provide evening and weekend oversight for Winter, Spring, and Summer programs, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to Florida Department of Children and Families guidelines. Utilize marketing and social media strategies to grow program engagement and foster Jewish cultural awareness. Travel off-site to vendors and attend required staff meetings. Requires a bachelor's degree, two years of youth programming experience, and a Commercial Driver's License.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree or higher
- Two years of prior experience in youth, teen and leadership programming
- demonstrated track record of organizational success
- Ability in English to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Skills in oral communications, interviewing and selecting
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate, compare, diagnose, estimate and verify
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to pass driving and insurance screening
- ability to safely operate JCA vehicles
- possess or be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License
- Ability to work with computer software programs: TractionRec (Salesforce), UPace, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiar with copiers and calculators
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willing to attain
- Fingerprinting and background screening are a requirement of this position
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- must occasionally need to lift young children to aid staff in the event of an emergency
- must be able to tolerate heat for outdoor portions of the day
- To travel off-site to vendors and/or other such locations as necessary
- To attend all required staff and in-service meetings throughout the year
- To follow JCA policies and procedures and model them
- To dress appropriately, and professionally
Desired Qualifications
